Quantitative Aptitude in the Bank exam is a herculean task for many aspirants. But there are many aspirants who score maximum marks in the Quantitative Aptitude Section. What makes the difference is the strategy for preparation and approach towards every question.

Practice 5 questions of each type daily in 8 to 10 minutes. Master these topics as they will fetch you good scores.

· DATA INTERPRETATION/ Caselet DI

Then there are these types of questions in which some data is given and you need to understand it and then answer all the questions. These questions require basic knowledge of Percentage, Ratio, and Proportion, Profit and loss, CI and SI, boat and streams and Average. Learn the concept of these topics and apply them in data interpretation and caselet DI questions. Try to solve at least 2 DI sets daily in 6 to 8 minutes.

· ARITHMETIC PROBLEMS

There are arithmetic questions that need a lot of practice. These are the questions that are very diverse and can be asked in many ways. Arithmetic topics require extra attention. So, try to practice at least 30 questions from one topic every day.

· COMPARING QUANTITY BASED QUESTIONS

Comparing Quantity based questions test your knowledge of basic math facts, analytical and problem-solving abilities to solve questions. In each question, instead of solving for a particular value, you need to compare two quantities. At the outset, these questions appear really difficult because of its unfamiliar format. However, if a person practices them well, they are quicker and easier to solve than the other type of math questions.

· DATA SUFFICIENCY

· TIME MANAGEMENT

You must plan your strategy according to the time given in the exams. In the IBPS Clerk / SBI Clerk Pre exam, 20 minutes are given to solve 35 questions and in Mains exam, 45 minutes are given to solve 50 questions.
